Construction Site Cleanup: How to maximize your supplies and keep your site cleaned.

Construction site is a place where many things are used at the same time and they need to be managed properly so that labor, time and money can be saved. Moreover construction sites needs regular clean up so that we can avoid damages.

Any construction site uses small nails to big iron rods for different purposes and if both not properly stored or there leftovers are not properly taken care of can result in hurting workers there and hurdles in walking space. In both the cases losses are there. The first thing that needs to be taken care of at the construction site is the storage of raw material. Raw material can be of different types from cement bags to wooden logs and from steel plates to coal tar. All the things have different states of matter and they need different methods of storage so that they should not be wasted and when required for use, should be in proper ready to use form. Secondly when the work is in progress special care of the things is to be taken as the things are half used if some problem occurs whole product is wasted. If a mixture of cement and sand is added with un-required water the whole mixture will be wasted and if the same is used in construction it will be having ill effects on the constructed wall or roof. And finally when a part of the whole structure is made it must be kept properly as it is becomes bigger in size and heavier in weight. If possible the piece of structure that is made must be kept at isolated place because then it will not be blocking the workers way and transportation of other goods.

Few workers must be there for the regular cleaning process of the site. If the site is very big a proper team must be there and if site is not so big then one or two workers can do this job. As drilling, welding and cutting of iron and other metals is very common at the site, special cleaning of the small metal pieces left after the work must be done. These small metal pieces can puncture human skin and can cause major damage to eyes. Big magnets can be used for cleaning iron pieces. Like metal, glass is another big issue to be handled. Either plane or looking glass both needs a smooth and even area for storage. If possible wooden sheets should be used to store them because wooden sheets will be giving plane and soft surface thus leading to less breakage. And if breakage is less clean up will also be less. The unused sand and cement heaps must be cleaned up side by side.
