When did Bingo Become the Countries Favourite Past Time?
If you think bingo is just a game for old ladies, you could be in for a surprise! Since the fairly recent boom of online bingo websites it seems everybody is playing the magical game of bingo both in the legendary bingo halls and playing online. Not wanting to be left out I decided to give it a go, I attempted to join my big bingo hall but need a million forms of photo ID and proof of address - seeing as I am a short lease tenant I lacked the latter.
Being, somewhat embarrassingly, turned away I decided to head home and give playing bingo online a go instead. I returned home and was amazed at the number of bingo websites available to me, there were literally thousands. One site even boasts over 3 million members! I settled for a recognisable name and settled in for an hour or two of online bingo entertainment.
And I didn’t hate it, don’t think I experienced the same atmosphere as the real hall may have but I started chatting to a few people who had far superior bingo knowledge then yours truly and I heard some stories about people winning hundreds of thousands of pounds! PLAYING ONLINE BINGO!! I couldn’t believe what I was reading; this is a million pound industry with hundreds of websites offering hundreds of opportunities to play online bingo.
What I have realised is that there is a great deal of people playing online bingo that I wasn’t particularly aware of. Then I started to clock bingo adverts all over the place, on television, radio and even the tabloids have got involved with their own sites, it seem bingo fever has swept the nation and personally, I would highly recommend catching it.
