Instructions For Vaporizers
Users of vaporizers should follow few instructions before starting to use a vaporizer. Firstly turn on the unit by plugging it in. till the time the unit heats up, spread a thin, loose layer of finely cut-up, not-too-dry herb into the bowl and immediately replace the glass lid on top of the unit. The element which heats up the unit and bowl get very hot, so one should be careful and should not touch any metal parts until they cool down. Invisible vapors are produced by the unit. These vapors can be sucked out through the draw tube. Once the vapor comes then a thin smoke also comes. Some people inhale this as well. As the properly used vaporizer produces a tar-free vapor rather than smoke, so one may want to hold the vapor in for longer than you would hold in smoke. The unit should be turned off between bowls to cool the bowl down. Also it is preferred that one should always suck in the clear vapor that appears before the smoke does. And the unit should never be left plugged in when not in use.
Vaporizer unit has been designed to decrease the amount of harmful chemicals in smoke by heating the herb to temperatures that release the active ingredients into the vapor while leaving most of the tar and other crap normally associated with smoke in the bowl. Vaporizer has a glass lid which gets get quite resin-covered with use, as will the bowl, the part of the body where the lid sits and the draw tube. All of these parts can be cleaned with a mild detergent and warm water. The glass lid and metal bowl may require rubbing of alcohol over them. But alcohol should be kept away from the guts of the unit. Resin can be recycled if desired. Vinyl tubing is flexible and it costs few dollars if it needs to be replaced.
