Freshlook coloured contact lenses
Contact lenses were originally purely a functional medical device. They were designed to correct your vision without the need for glasses.
Now contact lenses are available for cosmetic reasons. The first colored contact lenses consisted of a cellophane type tint which would only enhance the colour of light or blue eyes.
More recently coloured contact lenses are available to change the colour of even dark eyes. They work by having a natural appearing coloured iris “painted” onto the front surface of the contact lens. Most coloured contacts come are available in blue, green and aqua.
The most popular coloured contact lens in the market are a disposable form by Wesley Jessen called the Freshlook contact lenses. They are available in Freshlook Colors, Freshlook Radiance, Freshlook Dimension, Freshlook Colorblends and Freshlook Dailies one day coloured.
Freshlook Colours contact lens will alter the colour of even dark eyes. They are available in blue, green, gray, violet, sapphire blue and hazel. Blue is the most popular colour.
Freshlook Colorblends have a more natural appearance than the regular Freshlook Colors. The colour in the Colorblends has a more subtle transition.
Freshlook Radiance illuminates and brightens natural eye colour in four different effects. They are sunrise, autumn, eden and moonlight.
Freshlook Dimensions are a brighter shade than Freshlook Radiance.
Freshlook Dailies one day coloured contact lenses feature a translucent color that is similar to Freshlook Colourblends, though not as dark. They are daily disposable contact lenses, which provide the convenience of no lens care and the comfort of new, fresh lenses every day. Freshlook Dailies 1-Day Coloured lenses will not alter the colour of dark eyes.
