I personally don't buy much online, I would much rather touch and feel a product before making a purchase decision. I've been traveling a lot lately and do think that reserving hotels, air travel and car rentals online is a great commodity and something you should try. The thing with travel is that it's all electronic anyways, theres no physical product to touch, just click and reserve. Some of the things you should look out for are rates, ease of use and a good one is not having cancellation or change fees for hotel reservations.
Destinations guides. The website I book with has really good travel guides that range from arrival information to nightlife and theatre. These guides are very straight forward and extremely informative. Make sure the site you use offers these.
