Be An Aspiring Leader Who Inspires Others

Ninety Percent Inspiration, Ten Percent Perspiration
Live and learn, isn’t that a popular saying? In any society, living certainly contributes to the learning process. Anyone who aspires to be a leader certainly knows perspiration is a contribution from the masses in which he/she has to inspire to be followers. But, where do successful leaders stem from if society tends to breed workers not leaders? The demands of social order don’t inspire people to be leaders yet through the test of society people aspire to be in the forefront. Is it built into a person’s character to become a leader? Does inspiration spark aspiration in a bid for selling the rules to an unsuspecting populous who would in turn drive certain people into acts of leadership?

Perhaps it’s more subtle than that, perhaps it’s sparked by a desire to be in the forefront that prompts the flame of excellence. Maybe just maybe, leasers are really actors in disguise. Perhaps it’s the ego coming to the forefront that demand followers. There are unspoken rules which determines a leader’s aptitude and ultimately points him/her in a suitable and accepted direction. It is true that out of the masses only a few true leaders emerge. Individuals of character, charisma, strength and determination who are willing to challenge the world and grasp the opportunity at hand to wrestle it into submission.

In true life, there is strife, and anxiety, heartache, rejection, loss. etc. Some grapes are sour and just taste bad while others are sweet and pleasurable. Loved ones get hurt and die and time goes on indifferent to present goings-on. The fact is, reality is a revealing of a contaminated, unjust world which is not perfect. Out of all this chaos the leader recognizes the truths which lay at the base in which we all function is flawed. If there is a flaw in anything it becomes unpredictable and untrustworthy.

It’s a Mindset
The fact is everyone is subjected into a certain mindset from birth. People are controlled by powerful and deliberate forces which transgress into submissive behavior. All societies develop guidelines or patterns for the populous to follow for acceptance into their particular society or culture. These guidelines make the people submissive to its rules and regulations. If you break the rules, you are subjected to the punishment society deems as fitting. Followers never bend the rules nor break them because society will reject resistance while embracing the submissive. It is in a leaders nature to be self determined and driven to overcome the resistance of the masses and step to the forefront to lead. Like a sheepherder leads his sheep a leader must leads his flock also.

But When The System Becomes Flawed
Even flaws become laws which are constant in nature. 4+4 is never 9 but if mistaken for 9 the new result, as an inconsistency, will always be 9. If the flawed equation is used in a formula it will always produce a flawed but same outcome. It is in the leader to recognize there are flaws and bring direction back into the equation. People realize the integrity of a leader, and submit to the leader to keep them in line. In every case, when the true nature of a leader is projected, its’ result will stand the test of time. Never expect what is not there, because if you do, you will not only be disappointed but you will be disillusioned.

It Takes Realization and Understanding
A leader does not question with the understanding of reality comes a certain burden that he/she must carry. Those people rise to a higher order so they may be honored in participating in a personal endeavor, yet how well they participate depends a great deal on how they decipher information. This perception of reality is as varied as there are personalities. Each reality becomes a personal experience and the leader must understand how to engage each personality on a personal level. He/she knows that with each experience of life comes the realization of satisfaction, worth, contribution, and creative expression. It is in the act of expanding the mind that becomes a part of the total life experience. In gauging possibilities the leader must be prepared to take calculated risk because it is an element of the possibility. Impossibilities are no longer an issue as possibilities become realities of knowledge.

Let’s face it, a leader cannot expand his/her experience without people taking some risk. Each forward step includes the possibility of one step back so, striving for success also contains the possibility of including others in failure. This is not a bad thing, it is only in the challenge of the experience that one may achieve at all. Fear of failure is neutralized in the incentive to try and in the reward which is contained in the result. It doesn't make any difference if you become rich in material matters because all experience always leads toward wisdom and wealth in being. It is in the face of adversity where lies strength of character.

To Get Back On Track
I once knew a man who could not leave his home. His fear of the unknown included every encounter of every sort. People he knew became adversaries and the simplest of things were threats to his being. He couldn't function outside of his comfort zone. Many of us are the same way, I don't mean to the extreme of hiding away in your home, but we do fear facing new challenges. We will not step in front of the crowd for fear of being recognized in our own humiliation and failure. As a public speaker, I experienced that at first. When I went on stage, I would shake and my mouth would dry up. After a few moments, I would calm down and proceed without problems. Now I don’t have any problem at all. I realized I could not fear being found out for something that was not there. It has become as second nature and the audience senses my confidence and responds accordantly. Grab the reins and set in the seat of power - become a leader.
